SVDP Midnight Run – February

The Midnight Run is an event in which we give to those in need supplies that will help them get by. One evening during the spring semester, we give out clothes, toiletries, and food.

Sleepout for Homelessness - March

We as an organization show a unique stance against poverty. So every spring semester we organize an event called Sleepout for Homelessness. Sleepout is an event in which we actually learn about homelessness in NYC and across the world. We usually invite a speaker to speak on behave of those who are homeless to learn about the trials and tribulations of homelessness, we then throughout the night have activities exposing the realities of this issue. To wrap up this event we sleep out for the entire night on the great lawn to discover how it would feel like to be homeless.

Induction Ceremony - April:

The Society of St. Vincent De Paul is an international society dedicated to one on one service to those in need. Our roots are directly based on the teachings of St. Vincent De Paul. In order to continue this tradition every semester we induct a selected number of students who have exemplified the spirit of Saint Vincent de Paul into our conference.
