Kids On Campus - October

Kids on Campus is a campus wide event sponsored by the St. John Conference that incorporates the spirit and unity of the St. John's University Staten Island Campus. We invite children from agencies and organizations that serve underprivileged populations to St. John’s for a day of Halloween Fun. We provide competitive games, trick or treating, music and other activities. This event is so special to us as an organization; Kids on Campus not only serves children in need, it also helps to unite the campus for one cause. It is an opportunity to exemplify St. John’s University Vincentian Mission.

Thanksgiving Food Drive / Meal Delivery – November

Every Thanksgiving, The St. John’s Conference host an annual food drive to provide 15 families here on Staten Island with Thanksgiving Dinner. We hold the drive for a week, then 2 days before our thanksgiving break, we use the donations to create meal packages which we then deliver direct to the families home.

Christmas Giving Tree – December

We work with a local parish in order to fulfill the wishes of several children during the season. In early December, we setup a Christmas tree with ornaments. The ornaments each represent what a child would like for Christmas, in many cases, it is usually just clothes. Anyone in the campus community can take a tag and buy a gift for a child. We usually promise 50 gifts.
